Flows ranging from 300 to 3,000 cubic feet per second (cfs) and beyond can turn the Class II Rapids into Class III-IV wild water.

If you prefer a milder ride, late spring and summer is the season, when more moderate flows from the many small, spring fed creeks and tributaries make the river just right for first time rafters, families, and scout groups. There are plenty of fun rapids like in the spring, just a little milder.
